Jimbo is right. Swiss Farm would be a better option this time of year. They look like they’re set up for RVs so I’d be interested to hear what it’s like there. We only live down the road so it’s nice to know somewhere local for the a weekend jolly.
Gareth, what brewery are you visiting?

Crikey I just checked their web site. 20th Oct for 3 nights. £63. That’s good.
We’ll take a drive over there and have a look. Nice.

I’m sure you’re aware. Hambleden is on the other side of the river and unless they’ve created a short cut across Hurley or Hambleden lock, it’s a long way round by road. Swiss Farm would actually be a lot closer for you.

Have looked it up on google
There’s s mile or so of narrow road to the brewery but a nice big car park should be able to park over night there
Think I will give them a call and find out if they are okay with me staying over the night.

One night may run in to a weekend though

Depends how much beer I sample

That would be more favourable than driving from Hurley to Hambleden. There used to be a public car park in a lane just opposite Hambleden Mill. This may be your lane if you get stuck.
Street view it. If it’s still there It’s on the left as you turn north into the lane.

Just called the brewery they won’t let us stop overnight
So it looks like we will have to use Swiss Farm
Apparently it’s about 10 - 12 min drive to the brewery from there may just book a taxi or take our bikes.

That’s certainly the nearest safe option. Or the car park I mentioned but you’ll need to do a recce on that to make sure you can get in.

ive just checked Google Earth and it looks like that car park on Skirmmett Road has a height restriction across the entrance. Never mind.

Been to Hurley about 6 times hard standings are good.
We went over in the car and had a look at Hurley yesterday. It’s only about 15/20 min drive from our place.
What a lovely site!! Cheap too considering the location and facilities. It was just a field when I was a lad and I had no idea it had grown so nicely. Hurley is a lovely village. The Dew Drop Inn was an old stomping ground but you’ll need a car or cab to get there and back. Well worth a visit if you’ve not been.
Thanks for the tip on this place, we’ll definitely have a few nights there. Just give the RV a run if nowt else. (y)
